Tichu Rules
The basic rules of Tichu in simple steps. In a few minutes you'll be ready to sit at the table, play your first game and join the weekly Tichu tournaments.
Players & Teams
- 4 players split into 2 teams of 2
- Teammates sit across from each other
- Cooperation and silent communication are the key
- Each player receives 14 cards, eight first and then six, and passes three of them to the other players
Goal of the Game
- The first team to reach 1000 points wins
- Score with specific point cards
- Get rid of your cards fast to win the round
The 4 Special Cards
- 🐉 Dragon — the top card, but it gives its points to the opponents
- 🐦 Phoenix — a joker that takes the value of the previous card
- 🐕 Dog — passes the turn directly to your partner
- 🀄 Mahjong — starts the deal and lets you wish for a card
Tichu & Grand Tichu
- Tichu (100 points): You declare you'll finish first, before playing your 1st card
- Grand Tichu (200 points): The same, but before seeing more than 8 cards
- If you fail, you lose the corresponding points
- It's every player's great moment of daring
